Tibet Retreat Inn, Rasuwa, Nepal

Decor Debut successfully completed the interior design of the restaurant space at Tibet Retreat Inn, located in the serene yet remote area of Rasuwa. The total project area was 770 sq. ft., designed to create a warm and welcoming dining atmosphere in harmony with its natural surroundings.
The materials used included wood, ply, laminates, and both Berger emulsion paints for interior and exterior surfaces. Enamel paints were used for durability, while tiles and granite added texture and elegance to the surfaces. We incorporated customized wallpaper, brilliant lights, metal-legged tables, and cozy sofas and seating to complete the look.
Despite the beautiful setting, the project came with significant challenges. Rasuwa being a very remote location, we faced issues in transporting materials from Kathmandu, experienced a shortage of skilled labor, and dealt with electricity issues due to frequent load shedding. Weather conditions also added to the complexity of the work.
However, through careful planning and dedication, we successfully completed the project. The client was fully satisfied with the final result, and the restaurant now offers a cozy, well-designed space for guests to enjoy local and international cuisine.
