Designed by Interior Design Nepal, The Black Gold is a luxury Mediterranean restaurant located in Sanepa, Kathmandu, envisioned as a space where refined design and immersive dining come together. The interior is defined by a sophisticated palette of deep black finishes, brushed gold accents, and rich teal tones, creating a striking balance between elegance and warmth.

At the heart of the restaurant is a sculptural circular bar, designed as a visual anchor and social focal point. Finished in dark marble textures with subtle gold detailing, the bar is complemented by bespoke pendant lighting and plush seating that elevate both comfort and visual appeal. Architectural wall paneling, arched elements, and curated artwork subtly reference Mediterranean design while maintaining a contemporary, upscale aesthetic.

Layered lighting plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere, transitioning the space seamlessly from daytime dining to an intimate evening experience.
