Chiya Intake is a unique semi-outdoor cafe project that beautifully blends raw industrial architectural elements with refreshing natural textures. The design utilizes a combination of dark structural metal frames, warm wood tones, and vibrant greenery to create a relaxed, airy environment for guests.
The space features a practical yet stylish ordering counter equipped with a coffee machine, menu boards, and open wooden shelving for prominently displaying baked goods. Seating options are versatile, ranging from intimate round tables with minimalist dark-metal stools to substantial, solid wood communal tables with matching benches. An exposed dark metal staircase leads to an upper level, elegantly framed by trailing vines that add a touch of organic softness to the rigid overhead structure. The thoughtful integration of a smooth concrete walkway through the pebbled ground ensures easy accessibility while perfectly maintaining the overarching al fresco aesthetic.
