The IDN Professional Pathway is a completely inclusive 6 year route to professional competence which perceives time spent in both education and experience. After finishing the Pathway, a candidate can become an IDN Registered Interior Designer.
During the time of working practice, candidates on the Pathway complete IDN Development Diaries where they record their own professional development, against a set of openly defined competencies. The Pathway will implement the designer to take responsibility for their own development, while being guided through the process via a range of support such as mentoring, live events and online learning.
