Interior Designer: Registered Interior Designer

Interior designers with a total of six years of combined interior design/architecture education and work experience or a minimum of 6 years work experience qualify for IDN Registered Interior Designer membership.

Criteria

• Must carry relevant professional insurances i.e. Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance
• Must attend the Registration Assessment in person to present one complete project. This registration assessment aims to underpin and evidence your knowledge of professional practice in conjunction with the IDN Code of Conduct. The Registration Assessment can also be conducted via Skype

Application process

Candidates are required to finish the online application form mentioning their education qualification, work involvement and their specialized areas. Insurance policy details for Professional Indemnity and Public Liability. Contact details of two professionals who you have worked with that can bolster your application for participation i.e. interior designers, surveyors, exchange providers or IDN Registered Interior Designers.

You will likewise be required to upload the following data to your application:

·          List of projects undertaken in past 24 months (bullet points only)

·         Curriculum Vitae

·         Color portrait photograph

When your education qualification and work experience has been fulfilled, you will be invited for the Registration Assessment in person. You will need present the complete design project, how you have researched and developed an interior design for a client analyzing their requirements.

For those who cannot attend the Registration Assessment can be conducted through Skype.
